Leonard Marshall

Principal, Primary Insights

As a Principal of Data Science and Analytics in the Information Technology Practice, Leonard Marshall works hard to provide senior level executives and their IT teams with the advice and tools they need to more effectively manage their talent and drive initiatives. He is primarily aligned with and shared between the Peer & Practitioner Research areas of the CIO Leadership Council and the ITL Enterprise Architecture Leadership Council.

Leonard supports a bevy of services available to clients (IT Business Alignment Tool, Enterprise Architect Effectiveness Diagnostic among others) but spends even more of his time supporting research teams in their pursuit of new research. Since 2016 Leonard has supported his CIOLC and EALC colleagues groups conduct studies to support AER and VER research. He also looks to leverage resources from across the enterprise to further support agendas.

Some of the studies Leonard has played a central role in the CIOLC canon are:

Gartner 2018 Digital Dexterity Survey

Gartner 2019 Digital Business Teams (Fusion Teams) Survey

Gartner 2020 Digital Friction Survey

Some of the studies Leonard has played a central role in the EALC canon are:

In 2021, Leonard continues to support the same areas of the business. He will once again align with the CIOLC VER research workstream and also continue to support the EALC research group.
