Dan helps clients improve the digital employee experience (DEX) through research on various digital workplace technology management tools. These include DEX tools and Microsoft 365 Governance Tools.
Dan also leads the research that helps clients assess their digital workplace maturity and align it with their leadership's ambitions. With this knowledge, we can build a roadmap that prioritizes investments to achieve their mission-critical priorities. Advancing maturity often requires changes to the charter or remit, organization structure, job descriptions, processes, metrics and management tools. Dan covers them all.
Dan covers selection, deployment, management and governance of AI coworking agents, enterprise AI assistants (EAIA) and Microsoft 365.
Additional research areas include employee enablement to drive AI and digital workplace technology adoption and boosting workforce digital dexterity.
As a practitioner, prior to joining Gartner, Dan led internal and outsourced digital workplace and end-user computing teams for global companies for over 20 years. This included higher education, small business IT outsourcing and global multinationals organizations. Most recently, he led global workplace services including service desk, executive, field, walk-up, A/V, and deskside support, messaging services, enterprise mobility, managed print services, desktop engineering, active directory, modern collaboration, cellular services, IT asset management, IT service management, M365 and other employee-facing services. He also governed multiple outsourced services and technology vendors. Key initiatives included implementing new ITSM and ITAM platforms and global implementation of enterprise mobility and Microsoft 365. His primary focus was enablement - driving awareness and adoption of modern collaboration and workplace tools and services to improve employee productivity and satisfaction.
